Essential
Fell in love with this right away. The only problem was the sleeves make it too warm for Florida. I took it to my seamstress and had her remove the sleeves. I could not be happier with this now!
Cute, but tight in arms and itchy
Very cute, classic cut bodysuit. However, I don’t wear it that often because it’s very tight, in the ARMS of all places. This is odd because my arms are pretty long and lean and I slightly sized upwards but it’s just so snug around them. Whenever I wear this my arms feel itchy all day.
the snaps on the bottom are a little uncomfy and awkward
stupidly washed it after quickly trying it on but I haven't reached for this at all since I bought it
Love these bodysuits but they run SMALL AF
I am a true small/medium - 5’4, 130lbs, 37” bust, 27” waist, 37” hips… and I legit bought a large and it’s still tight on my arms. Like not too tight but it’s true to that classic 2010s american apparel **** where the sizing is low key toxic and not meant for bigger folks which gives me the ick imo; we are in 2023 helllooo I could have still bought an XL and I think it would have fit so I’m giving in a 1 star for size inclusivity BUT as a product, it’s cozy, I love the snap closure, I love the thong, I love the form fit and the mock neck. This has ME written all over it. It’s kind of the perfect bodysuit. Still giving it 5 stars cuz it works great for me.
Size way up
I'm normally an XS on tops but the first time I bought a bodysuit from American Apparel, I got XS and it was skin tight. I couldn't wear it if I planned on eating that day. So I got a size Small this time thinking it will fit better and it's skin tight again. I would need to get a Medium so it can fit me fitted but not tight. Other than the super small sizing, the material is great. Not see through and can be worn without a bra.
